OK, call me impressed. Thanks to Jan for linking me to Evernote, an app that let’s you snap photos, clip web pages and take notes across multiple platforms and have them all synced in the cloud. The coolest thing I see about it so far is the OCR that happens on their servers.

Overlay WikiMapia data in GoogleEarth
While looking for a place I stayed last time in Phnom Penh, I started off on GoogleEarth. No luck. After a bit of hunting I wandered over to WikiMapia. I thought that you could select WikiMapia overlays in GE however it seems you need this file to enable overlay. Awesome!

Gmail Themes a welcome feature
Google has added themes to Gmail. The above screenshot shows the Terminal theme. Below is another called Tea House. I’ve taken to using Gmail with Apple Mail since they turned on IMAP support but this is still a welcome sight for a very old and boring interface.

Honda has brought ASIMO to a Malaysian roadshow. I’ve seen ASIMO many times on TV and online although I have to say it was cool to see in person today at One Utama. I want one that’s 24 inches tall and knows how to brew beer.
