I’m not one to give much advice to the other party, but at the end of the day we all benefit from a productive discourse and honestly I feel a little bad for just how screwed up their party is right now. The Republican party is dying it seems. I remember when Howard Dean was laughed out of town after Iowa in the 2004 election. He ended up coming back and saving the Democratic Party leading it to multiple waves of victory with his 50 State Strategy. I don’t see Ron Paul doing that for the GOP but I do think he capable of pulling off a true revolt within their party.

Dear republicans, Ron Paul is your Obi Wan – your only hope.

I wonder how high this number rises once we can vote online.

In the presidential election of 2008, approximately 39.7 million or 30% of all votes were cast prior to Election Day, November 4, 2008. This is a significant increase from 20% in 2004 and part of the upward trend experienced since 1992, when 7% of all votes were cast early. These numbers are likely to increase in subsequent presidential elections as more states adopt early voting and more voters become comfortable with the practice.
